Cinema on the Border with Gorizia-based Kinoatelje

As part of GO! 2025 European Capital of Culture, Kinoatelje conceived two projects. Oriente Vzhod / Occidente Zahod creates an atlas of cinematic images, historical turning points, and shifting borders between Slovenia and Italy, while Our Daily Cinema sheds light on the history of Gorizia through the traces of an omnipresent film culture. Both projects encourage reflection on how we understand and experience our shared cross-border space through cinema. The event will be in Italian.
