Join the volunteers of the 22nd Kino Otok – Isola Cinema Festival!

For the 22nd year in a row, Kino Otok – Isola Cinema International Film Festival brings to Izola a fresh selection of world, European and Slovenian auteur films that will take over screens, festival venues and film audiences across the city of Izola and beyond between 10 and 14 June 2026.

We invite all film lovers and cultural enthusiasts to join our international volunteer team, get to know more about the organization of cultural events, meet established filmmakers and exchange views and opinions about films watching sunsets and sunrises by the sea.

We invite you to join and take part in the following tasks:

• preparing the festival venues,
• welcoming and coordinating guests,
• online communication and PR,
• photo and video documentation,
• ticket sales at the festival box office,
• preparing venues for film screenings,
• transporting guests,
• running the industry program,
• working at the campsite,
• preparing meals in the festival kitchen,
• ensuring that the festival is kept green and sustainable,
• and everything else!

As we want you to be with us for all the days of the festival and more (9 June – 15 June 2026), we offer you:

• accommodation at the Škamp campsite,
• three meals a day,
• a festival pass, which allows you to see the films at all locations during your free time.

Volunteers below the age of 18 can apply with the consent of their parents or guardians and must be accompanied by a person of legal age during the festival.
