In Bezinović’s short – shortest – films, many of them self-produced, we can clearly recognise his unique, intriguing and fresh expression, imbued with the spirit of the great names of Yugoslav documentary filmmaking. Bezinović as an auteur is always felt behind the images on the screen, with sound and image only taking on their true meanings when they pass through the last filter, the auteur himself, for whom honesty with the medium and the viewer plays an important role.
