As part of the the Submarine youth program at the Kino Otok \u2013 Isola Cinema festival<\/strong>, we offer Istrian preschools, elementary schools, and high schools\u2014with both Slovenian and Italian as languages of instruction\u2014a diverse selection of feature-length and short films from Slovenian and other European film industries every year.<\/p>\n

Through various cinematic styles, the films engage children between the ages of 3 and 18, who, after the screening, have the opportunity to share their impressions of what they\u2019ve seen with their peers and gain a deeper understanding of the world of moving images through in-depth discussions led by our film educators.<\/p>\n
