Insan<\/strong> is a Yugofuturist force that, through a nostalgic lens on the ex-Yugoslav musical underground, blends pop, new wave, and rock. After their striking debut and several line-up changes, the band returned at the end of 2025 with the album Planet Tuga (KAPA), which explores the depths of grief and reflects on how the anomalies of the modern world affect our bodies and communities. The new record envisions the band as a hypersonic, cosmonautical crew of cyborgs and intergalactic misfits on a journey to discover Zenit, a planet that tests the limits of optimism.<\/p>\n

Katju\u0161a Stare, also known as nastynancy<\/strong>, is a DJ and member of the band Nima\u0161 Izbire, who became active in the Ljubljana club scene in 2022. As a DJ, she is most drawn to faster rhythms and various types of breaks, including jungle, breakbeat, footwork, electro, ghettotech, and other bass-driven sounds. In her highly energetic sets, she seeks a meeting point between euphoric melodies and rhythmic chaos, feeling especially at home on the stages of Ljubljana\u2019s clubs.<\/p>\n

Bugaboo<\/strong> is a complex quintet based in Trieste, brought together by a genuine pleasure in resonating the air between bodies. They are driven by a shared and lively jazz tension, and propose an original repertoire whose complex flavours recall typical funk, blues, and post-rock rhythms and sounds, enriched with hints of electronic and hip hop cultures. This mix creates a unique compositional style and sound, with a vaguely acid and moody identity \u2013 in short: rancid.<\/p>\n

DJ and record collector Zv\u00e8n<\/strong> (Tilen Mavri\u010d) is a member of the DJ collective Cosmic Sex, a young music enthusiast, and is regarded as one of the most promising figures of the new generation. In recent years, in addition to regularly playing club gigs in Ljubljana, he has performed at the Butik and Ment festivals. His selections span a wide range, building bridges between psychedelia and euphoria, and he is also passionate about regional musical heritage, especially ex-Yu and East European jazz, folk, and rock.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter\u00a0<\/span>KiKi (Kikiwritings<\/span><\/b>) has been described by the media as a \u201csorceress of intimate storytelling\u201d,\u00a0with her music called \u201cmagical folk-pop\u201d.\u00a0KiKi\u2019s voice transports listeners into her fairytale world, and, together with the wonderful harmonies of her backing vocalists and her\u00a0somewhat unusual, at times dark lyrics, she weaves tales that draw concertgoers close, with these stories often sounding\u00a0almost like\u00a0confessions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She performs live with a band consisting of keyboardist Matev\u017e Ko\u0161utnik, guitarist Jan Kopa\u010d, drummer Martin Jocif, and vocalists Nika Trdin and Gala Pregel.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sp\u00e4ti<\/strong>, a member of the Housetherapy collective, has in recent years moved from Kersnikova to Metelkova, from Diskoterapija to the legendary Roza parties, from bars to summer festivals, and even beyond her home turf. Sonically, she weaves together punchy bass drums, 4\/4 beats, varied percussion, and flirtatious vocals.<\/p>\n

KAV\u010c<\/strong> is a coastal pop\/rock trio that has quickly established itself as one of the most prominent young bands on the domestic scene. Their sound combines melodic pop and energetic rock with contemporary production and a strong concert presence. With the singles Tvoj papagaj (Your Parrot) , Komaj \u010dakam, da zaspi\u0161 (I Can Hardly Wait For You To Fall Asleep) and Usedi se z mano (Sit Down With Me), they were selected for Song of the Week on Radio Koper and Pop Song of the Week on Val 202, while also ranking among the most played artists of the year on Radio Koper. In 2024, they released their self-titled debut album, Kav\u010d, while Prstan zlat (A Golden Ring) and Casino are already singles for their new second album.<\/p>\n

Jazza<\/strong> is a DJ who loves to tell stories and create ambiance through music, blending deep house, cutting-edge electronica, Italo disco, and new wave into his dark, immersive sets. He first emerged in Trieste in the 1990s with the DJ collective Electrosacher and has since performed across Europe in clubs, festivals, theatres, museums, fashion shows, and social and urban spaces. Since 2002, he has curated the soundtracks for ITS \u2013 International Talent Support, a major fashion platform.<\/p>\n

The Otok Institute showcases the literary and visual outcomes of a project undertaken in collaboration with the Stazioni_Postaje APS association to explore the Slovenian-Italian cross-border multicultural space through its poetry, dialects, and cinema, bringing together two generations: seniors in nursing homes, who translated the poetry into dialects, and young people, who adapted it into short films.<\/span><\/p>\n
