 Lesya is serving a seven-year sentence in a women’s prison in Odessa for committing a crime of passion. She has just given birth to her first child and entered the world of women: fellow inmates, nurses and wardens, wives and widows, daughters, sisters, pregnant women and women with children. This docufiction film, focused on numerous details of a seemingly uniformed world, is a reflection on the countless faces of motherhood.
